Monica Armani is an architect and designer. In 1996 she created a brilliant self-production experience: progetto 1, which was produced by B&B Italy in 2005. Since then, she has been designing for the best-known companies in the sector, both in Italy and abroad, including B&B Italia, Luceplan, Tribù, Snaidero, Molteni&C, Gallotti&Radice, Starpool, Schoenhuber Franchi, Poliform, Teknion Studio, GlasItalia and Viccarbe. Her combination of rigorous design, innovation and engineering gives rise to a unique and unmistakable style in all her work: from architecture to industrial design, and interior decoration to design, from planning to art direction to corporate identity. Following in the footsteps of the great masters, Studio Monica Armani has chosen to devote its attention to contemporary architecture, retaining it to be a concrete and considered response to today’s need for sustainability. Examples include The Lounge, created for Poltrona Frau Group and the Casa Corriere building presented at Expo Milano 2015 for RCS MediaGroup.
